Simon Evening of Giving at Woodland Hills Mall

Sunday, November 18, from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m.
Happy Hands School for Hearing Impaired Children will participate and benefit from Simon Malls Evening of Giving. This event is open to any charity or non-profit organization that wants to raise money for their organization. The mall is closed to the public during these hours and special sales and events will be happening during these times. Tickets are sold for $10 each and $7 of the $10 will given back to Happy Hands. The other $3 goes to the Simon Youth Foundation.
This can be a really great event for Happy Hands if everyone pitches in and sells a few tickets.  Tickets and fliers will be made available next week and can be picked up at Happy Hands. If you let me know in advance how many tickets and fliers you will need, I will have those available when it's convenient for you to pick them up.

For more information on any of these events, please contact me at 665-1200 or denise@happyhands.org.

Sunny Weather Helps Emerald Falls Recover from Rain

Due to torrential rains in Tulsa during the month of June and some of July, the Emerald Falls golf course is set to open on September 1. I saw first hand the damage and stress the weather put on the grass and surroundings causing drainage issues. We plan to open the course with a "no cart" policy until the Spring. It is in our goal to open the course in great condition. I know the setbacks have been disappointing for those golfers who are anxious to be among the first to play the Emerald Falls course, but Tim and his crew are working their hardest to get it back to where it needs to be.
