Broken Arrow Company Provides Geothermal Savings

“With rising energy costs, more and more businesses and homeowners are considering alternative heating and cooling options. Geothermal is one of those options which has become an enticing option because it uses the earth’s constant temperature to heat and cool your home or business,” says Stephen Taylor, representative for Broken Arrow, OK’s Air Assurance (www.airassurance.com). The company offers installation and service for all heating and cooling systems, both residential and commercial.

Geothermal systems are more expensive to install but much less costly to operate or maintain. The greatest expense is installing the ground loop systems. For more information about home heating and cooling repair, maintenance, or installing a brand new furnace or air-conditioning system in your home or business, visit www.airassurance.com and ask for Stephen Taylor. Stephen can be contacted through his listing on the home repair site www.tulsahomecare.com where reliable home repair companies in the greater Tulsa, OK area can be found.

Build a Better Broken Arrow

The Broken Arrow Chamber breakfast forum today was a presentation on the bond issues known collectively as project which are called Build a Better Broken Arrow.

This was the first public presentation on the bond issue. There will be three additional public presentations scheduled, the first of which is this Monday evening at Heritage United Methodist Church. Visit www.brokenarrow.org For more information on meetings.

In addition to several other categories, some of the projects include Broken Arrow, OK Parks and Quality of Life and Broken Arrow Public Safety.

One of the public safety projects is funding to create an emergency operatios center in the current Armed Services Reserve Center which is being vacated by the Federal Government. This move would create a central office for emergency services for Broken Arrow, OK departments. Orignally, voters approved funding for the emergency center in 2004 but the Reserve building became available in 2006. This change would ask voters to approve altering use of these funds based upon a new opportunity for this Public Safety Complex.

More information is available at www.brokenarrowok.gov. The vote will be held December 9th.
